UGANDA Sports Press Association president Douglas Mazune and secretary Hussein Ahmed will be among the 300 participants at the 70th AIPS Congress that starts in Austria on Wednesday, writes Ronnie Kintu.
The two leave today for the Swiss-Austrian border city of Bregenz ahead of the opening ceremony on Wednesday courtesy of uganda telecom.
“Our aim is to market USPA, target education opportunities for our members and also link up with sister associations,†revealed Hussein yesterday.
Over 106 countries will be represented at the elite International Sports Press Association (AIPS) week-long event.
Highlights will include presentations from the eight EURO 2008 host cities.
