Police FC was unfairly treated by FUFA
SIR — While FUFA has scored with the national soccer team, the football governing body is yet to deliver at other levels.
An example is the recent postponement of the league match between KCC and Police. NFLC rescheduled the game on grounds that KCC players and coach were in Lesotho on national duty.
This was not fair because KCC had only one player (Nathan Mutenza) with the Cranes, contrary to the three stipulated in the league rules.
It’s such seemingly small blunders that kill the game.

Let rugby soar
SIR—The Rugby Cranes have again done us proud by beating highly-rated Namibia.
There can’t be better proof that rugby in Uganda has finally blossomed. Soon, it won’t be news when we beat the likes of Namibia or Morocco. That’s exactly why those in charge should seriously start think of strategies to take it to an even higher level.
