UGANDAN star Ibrahim Sekagya gets his maiden feel of Europe’s prestigious UEFA Champions League football when Red Bulls engage Latvian giants Ventspils in Austria today.

Sekagya, the pillar upon which the Bulls built their historic 1-0 win over Premiership side Arsenal last week, will yet again be demanded to hold together Bulls’ back-four in a home fixture the Austria champions are desperate to win with a comfortable home goal-margin.

The Cranes captain has become an icon at Bulls with every passing game and has a goal so far to his name in the domestic league.

There has been a massive rush for tickets, with the stipulated 31,000 that had been printed for the game, all sold out.

Sekagya is expected in the country later this month for Cranes’ must-win Africa Nations Cup qualifier against lowly Niger on September 8.
