Thanks Hon Alex Byarugaba
I want to thank Alex Byarugaba, the MP for Isingiro South, for the various projects he has introduced in our area. We have benefited a lot. However, he should encourage residents to plant trees. This will not only help them keep the environment safe, but also fight poverty because trees can be sold.

Bukoto-Kyebando road in poor state
The road from Bukoto to Kyebando is in a sorry state, yet it is used by many people. The road is shared by both Nakawa and Kawempe divisions. Therefore, the two division chairmen, Protazio Kintu of Nakawa and Nasser Takuba of Kawempe, should join hands to improve the road.

Uganda needs another city
For so many years, Uganda has had one capital city, Kampala. Because it is the only city, it has faced a lot of pressure from the population since it is the main business centre. Uganda is the only country in East Africa with only one city. It is high time she got another city and I do not care which one is selected.

b>Reconciliation good for Kyenjojo
I am happy that there will be no more conflicts in Kyenjojo district, after William Kaija, the NRM candidate, and James Byamukama, the LC5 chairman, reconciled. Both of them can now work together to develop the district. Other districts should borrow a leaf from Kyenjojo.

Gulu has potential to be a city
Gulu is the centre of business in northern Uganda. It acts as a link between Sudan and northern Uganda. The town has over 200,000 people and has a potential of becoming a city. Let us fight for Gulu’s city status.
