Express forward Moses Aduni and club-less Tonny Odur are among the key players being sought by top clubs as the local soccer transfer season opens today at FUFA House Mengo.

Taxmen URA and new entrants Nalubaale are also expected to be dominant players in the transfers that will run until November 20 — a month after kick-off on October 20.

URA FC secretary Nixon Twebaze confirmed that they were eyeing some big names at minimal costs.

“We hope to utilise the window to sign at least two players for each department. But we shall not go for a player that demands more than sh1m,” Twebaze said after a sensitisation meeting with FUFA.

Police FC have declared interest in Aduni while Bunamwaya SC wants Odur who has just returned from a fruitless professional stint in Denmark.

FUFA will release fixtures for the GTV-sponsored Super League season on September 20.
