THE parents of nine-month-old Anita Abanji are seeking financial assistance of sh8m to help her undergo heart surgery in India. According to the Uganda Heart Institute, Abanji (right) was diagnosed with a pulmonary valve stenosis, which requires corrective surgery called balloon valvuloplasty.

THE parents of nine-month-old Anita Abanji are seeking financial assistance of sh8m to help her undergo heart surgery in India. According to the Uganda Heart Institute, Abanji (right) was diagnosed with a pulmonary valve stenosis, which requires corrective surgery called balloon valvuloplasty.
“The procedure can be done in Frontier Lifeline, India,†said John Omagino, a consultant surgeon.
Assistance can be channeled through the Uganda Heart Foundation account number 1775930 in Barclays Kampala main branch or call her father, Joseph Wepaul, on 0752492431.
