GULU Support the Children Organisation (GUSCO) with support from Save the Children in Uganda, on Saturday donated sewing machines, carpentry and brick laying tools worth sh52m to 132 former abducted and war-affected children.

VOTERS in Mbarara municipality on Thursday braved the afternoon rain to vote for the president and MP. A persistent drizzle that began at 11:00am and lasted to 1:00pm could not get voters out of the queues.

THE Police in Rukungiri have arrested detective constable Nathan Mugizi for allegedly asking for money from an assault complainant last week.
District Police commander Okot Obwona said Mugizi told the complainant that the file was missing but could get it for him if he paid money.
