THE Police management has transferred its personnel in a shake up that saw several officers taking up new posts.

THE Police management has transferred its personnel in a shake up that saw several officers taking up new posts.

In the transfers on Friday, Kampala Extra Police chief Benson Oyo Nyeko moved to central region as the regional Police commander. Grace Turyagumanawe from central region replaces him.

Others were Sakwa Wambi from Pader to Railway Police as the deputy boss and A. Gumisiriza from Sironko to Gulu as the district Police commander (DPC).

Titus Khaukha moved from Kitgum to Kyambogo University as chief security officer and Andrew Mutesasira from Nebbi, where he has been station chief, to Pader as DPC.

Isabella Abeja moves from Kira Road to Nebbi as the station chief, Hillary Kulayigye from Nalufenya to Kitgum as DPC and Miria Atuhaire from Wakiso to Entebbe as acting DPC.

Others are U. Bamunoba from Pallisa to Katakwi as acting DPC, Moses Kafeero moves from Entebbe to western region as staff officer, Kedi Okiror from Katakwi to southwestern as staff officer.

J. Chemutai from western to Wakiso as station chief, J. Sekago from Entebbe to Ntinda barracks. Richard Mivule moves to Sironko as DPC. The transfers took immediate effect, Police said.
