POLICE will try to halt the giant-killing antics of struggling Super League side Kampala United today.
The relegation-placed side has secured a point against the four top sides in the league in the first round and only lost 2-1 to KCC and 1-0 to Victor, the other sides in the top seven.

United have dealt with table leaders Express FC (1-1), URA (1-1), SC Villa (0-0) and Simba (1-1) so far this season.

“We have always done well against top sides and will continue that way today and in the second round to get into the safe region,” Kampala United coach Mathias Lule said.

* ANDREW Mwesigwa (right) believes the cold weather in Iceland will not undermine his chances of excelling in the Scandinavian country.

The former Villa defender finally signed a three-year deal with Iceland side IBV FC yesterday.

He said: “I am strong enough to overcome the harsh cold conditions in Iceland. In side me I know I will succeed,” Mwesigwa said.
