SC Villa will take on Kenyan side Ulinzi while Police battle Tanzania’s Yanga in titanic battles for semi-final places in the CECAFA Club Championship.

The Ugandan representatives could now take on each other if they win tomorrow’s quarter-final games.

The clash of the quarter-finals is however expected to be between St George of Ethiopia coached by Micho Sredejovic and Rwandan giants APR who boast of Ugandan stars Abubaker Tabula, Vincent Kayizi and Alimansi Kadogo.

St. George beat Inter Star 1-0 in yesterday’s early game but Yanga’s 3-1 win over Ulinzi saw them reclaim the top table position.

Meanwhile, St.George custodian Dennis Onyango is being sought by Egyptian club Ismail.

“I went for trials and passed well before we came for CECAFA Club Championships in Dar es salaam,” Onyango said.
