Mabikke says God sent him to be president

Like the newly-elected Ruhama MP Janet Kataaha Museveni, who said she was sent by God to liberate Ruhama people, Makindye East MP Michael Mabikke appears to be towing the same trend. Last Sunday, the self-appointed messenger from Heaven told fellow MPs at Rubaga Cathedral that: “I do not want to be like Janet but I feel I am also God-sent to stand for the 2011 presidency and liberate Ugandans.” With his so-called boost from God, he was recently overheard telling friends at Makerere University that: “I am the only MP whom President Yoweri Museveni fears. I have pursued almost all disciplines. I recently finished my course in military science from North Korea. I did journalism, now I am doing law.” Let’s wait and see!
