OVER 20 Iranian pharmaceutical companies started a week-long drug exhibition at Garden City in Kampala on Friday.
The fair is aimed at improving trade relations between Iran and Uganda.
The exhibition is being conducted under the theme “Iran Medical Exhibition in Uganda possible.”
Kampala mayor Nasser Ssebagala, opened the fair.

URA to verify

THE Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) is to verify all issued road license stickers to curb down on forgeries.
“Almost 50% of the vehicles on roads have fake road license stickers.We shall verify all issued stickers and issue others for those that will be found genuine,” URA’s chief Allen Kagina, said.
She was speaking at the Taxpayers Day last Friday.

Bird show
IN a bid to market the country’s niche market, Tourism Uganda (TU) officials will lead six companies to the British Bird Watching Fair slated for August 18 to 20 in the UK, TU said in statement.
