Those who witnessed the would-be-scuffle say it was a sight to behold. Last Friday at Makindye Military Court, Lt Col Muhindo Mawa who is in court for abuse of office, huffed and puffed until his chest expanded like that of a prized cock. Reason? Mawa had threatened to seize a New Vision photographer’s camera. Screaming at the photo journalist Kennedy
Oryema, he ranted: “You dare take my photo and I will smash your camera. Then you will regret why you took and put my photos in your papers.” With that, other photographers were deployed to capture the moment. When he was outnumbered, he pleaded: “I did not mean anything. I do not know why all the scribes have decided to concentrate on me.”
