THE Shilling remained stable in the week to Friday closing at 1,853/58 per dollar in lacklustre trading and market sentiments were little changed due to expectations the national budget presentation, dealers said.

The finance minister, Dr. Ezra Suruma, presented the budget last Thursday.
The close was marginally different from the preceding Friday’s level of 1,852/57. Dealers said there was low demand.
