AS the World Cup finals reached the semi-finals in Germany, three members of staff in The New Vision’s finance department are praying that their teams continue with the progress that will enable one of them win a jackpot of sh0.44m.

Finance boss Zubair Musoke (Italy), Abdul Ndawula (Portugal) and Henry Luyima (France) are the only single individuals who thought their choices would win the world’s premier soccer trophy.

“If there is more than one winner the money will be shared,” said Merito Ruhangamanya, the man behind the predictions.

Another 14 believe hosts Germany will keep the trophy at home come July 9. The rest of the 44-member pool has already fallen out after their choice were shown the exit. 14 of them had rooted for Brazil.

The editorial department is also having one of their own where the final winner will walk away with sh0.21m.
