Euro-Asia boosts Makerere tennis event

SPORTS outfit dealers Euro-Asia Sports Centre (U) Ltd have boosted the fourth edition of the Makerere knockout tennis tournament with a sponsorship package of sh1.2m.

SPORTS outfit dealers Euro-Asia Sports Centre (U) Ltd have boosted the fourth edition of the Makerere knockout tennis tournament with a sponsorship package of sh1.2m.

The four day tournament that will run between July 6-9 at the Makerere University Senior Staff Tennis Club has attracted a number of top players who include Henry Banura, William Kalega and 2005 defending champion Herbert Buyinza.

For the first time in the history of this tournament, the ladies singles have been introduced to make the event more colouful.

Euro-Asia package includes trophies, medals to be awarded to winners and balls that are going to be used during the event.
