ENTERPRISE Uganda, a business development and advisory services provider, has won a deal from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector lending arm of the World Bank.

Charles Ocici, the body’s executive director, said under the deal, his organisation will develop business planning and training kits for women entrepreneurs around the African continent.

“The kitty will be used to help women-owned enterprises produce bankable business plans. It will henceforth enable them catch up with their male counterparts in not only running and sustaining businesses, but also qualifying for credit,” he said.
