UNITED Motor Sport Club (UMOSPOC) Challenge Rally due September 23-24 is in a sh6m budget deficit following termination of sponsorship by Moil.

UMOSPOC, who quickly pieced up sponsorship from service providers after Moil said that they would not fund the event this year, are still short by sh6m.

“We still have financial problems. The total budget was sh16m but with the service providers coming out to help, we now need sh6m,” event manager Juma Nkambwe said at the launch at Rinsar Motel at Namasuba.

Rinsar, Jomayi Property Consultants, Caltex, Battery Plus, CBS Radio, Fire and Safety Appliances, Nsibambi Enterprises, Uhuru Executive, Chills and Meals are among the service providers.
