He may be the father of two players in the English Premiership, but that surely does not give him the right to behave the way he did last Saturday night. Julian Ferdinand, father to Manchester United’s Rio Ferdinand and West Ham’s Anton Ferdinand happened to be in the VIP section at Bebe Cool’s duo album launch that night, and drew attention. But he apparently did not like being photographed, for some reason. When a New Vision photographer took a picture, Ferdinand lost it. He grabbed him by the collar and threatened to break his camera.
A couple of goons who were with him joined in, demanding to know why the photographer had taken the picture ‘without permission,’ and threatened him with all kinds of harm. But sane heads soon prevailed and Ferdinand went back to his corner brooding, but not before the photographer had said that he (Ferdinand) would have spent time in a Ugandan jail if he had carried out his threats. Hey Julian, fancy a bit of posho and beans!
