UGANDA Hippos could do with just a point against old foes Rwanda today to guarantee a semi-final place in the U-20 CECAFA youth championships in Bujumbura, Burundi.
Following Saturday’s 2-2 draw against one of their closest qualifying challengers Burundi in Group A, a draw against Rwanda will certainly ensure that only Hippos and the hosts make the next stages of the competition that ends September 23.
The belated inclusion of KCC FC’s aggressive forward Anthony Bongole into the Hippos side last week served coach Frank Anyau’s side so well with a well-taken equaliser on Saturday.
