Some urban people just cannot condescend to window-shop, let alone stop for half-a-minute to admire a mannequin. But, hey, you might be missing out on many nice things.

Did you know that most retailers display only their very best clothes, mobile phones, shoes, jewellery, etc? Reason, no one would attempt to lure by-passers to his shop by displaying mediocre stock. Besides, by cashing in on a mannequin’s clothes, the retailer would be sure of grabbing the attention of everyone else.

What’s more? Window-shopping saves you time and money. You would not have to go through the drudgery of having the salesperson get several items off the racks and shelves and dump them onto the counter for you to choose. If you indeed went through the tedious process several times, you would be dazed and could settle for that mediocre impulse buy. Why, the best is in the window.

Nothing beats the allure of window-shopping during a buying spree. Say, you would not be wise to refuse to window-shop now, prior to the Christmas season. You might miss out on excellent offers, discounts and deals...you know all that blitz of festive shopping. And soon, salespeople will be so busy with buyers that they will no longer afford the courtesy to chat about such offers with a single customer. So shopper, begin honing your window-shopping skills today!

Warning: Window-shopping with an empty wallet can cause feelings of sadness if you have no hopes of raising enough money to return for that oh-so-hot item before another shopper picks it.
