SPEED Merchant Emma Katto will return to haunt his rivals in the Champions Sprint at Botanical Gardens in Entebbe on December 2.

SPEED Merchant Emma Katto will return to haunt his rivals in the Champions Sprint at Botanical Gardens in Entebbe on December 2.
Katto, who was victorious on his previous outing in the UMOSPOC Challenge Rally in September, was first to register for the popular sprint. The Southern Motor Club (SMC) organised sprint usually marks the end of the motorsport calendar.
SMC president Dusman Okee said that over 30 drivers, including eight women, are expected to compete in the sprint.
“As usual the women will be there to entertain fans. They are now even more skilled having gained experience. Susan Muwonge even went a step further to compete in the National Rally Championship (NRC) so she wants to continue taking on men,†Okee said.
The event will have a motocross championship and music gala featuring many of the renowned local artistes.
Simba Group, Auto Serve, WBS TV, Radio CBS, Imbecap and Katumwa Sports Centre have sponsored the event.
