District Police chief James Aurien has warned bodaboda cyclists against aiding criminals. He said the reputation of the cyclists had sharply declined because they are perceived as allies of criminals. He was on Tuesday addressing a security meeting for the cyclists at Seeta Church of Uganda Primary School in Goma.

Guard flees
MASAKA
A security guard attached to Nile Security Guards suspected to have robbed sh3.4m from Nyendo Service Fuel Station is on the run. The deputy district CID officer, Francis Rugiyehe, identified the suspect as Francis Ogwel from Kumi district.
