THE wife of a prominent businessman in Fort Portal caused a stir on Tuesday night when she assaulted a girl she found with her husband.
THE wife of a prominent businessman in Fort Portal caused a stir on Tuesday night when she assaulted a girl she found with her husband.
Apparently, when the businessman’s wife walked into the shop, her hubby, popularly known as ‘Dubai’ of Dubai Shopping Center on Ruhandinka Street, seemed to be engrossed in a conversation with Helen, a staff with Daj Communications.
Raging with fury, the wife headed for Helen with intent to cause serious bodily harm. During the fracas, ‘Dubai’ fled the scene. Staff tried to intercept the fight, but her grip was tight.
Property worth about sh500,000 was destroyed and airtime lost. Helen reported the case to police. ‘Dubai’ and his wife spent the night at Fort Portal police station. It is alleged that she had, on several occasions heard, that her husband had an affair with the girl.
