KCC yesterday underlined their chase for the VEK soccer Cup with victory over SC Villa.

Cup holders KCC missed a penalty in the first half before getting the net after the break at Nakivubo stadium.

Geoffrey Serunkuma opened the scoring after 58 minutes before Hamis Kitagenda sealed Villa’s fate seven minutes later.

Villa struggled to get goals against a solid KCC defence. Even efforts by coach Sam Timbe to introduce four players failed.

With six points from two matches, KCC are unchallenged for the trophy.

They will face the winner of today’s game in the final due on Tuesday.
