KAMPALA district MP Margaret Zziwa angered Kampala City Council (KCC) when she attributed development in Rubaga division to the Movement government.

Zziwa, who was addressing women at Lubiri secondary school on Thursday, repeatedly praised the Movement government for developing the division.

She said, “The Wakaliga- Natete road was constructed because of the movement, though politicians who do not even subscribe to the Movement may want to take stock of it. That is why we call it Museveni road.”

Zziwa reminded the gathering how the LC3 chairperson, Justin Sendikadiwa, was invited and never turned up.

But Zziwa’s statements did not augur well with KCC’s Florence Bagunywa Nkalubo, who answered back from her seat next to the tent where the first lady was seated.

She said, “You should recognise KCC because even the sodas you’re serving were provided by us and we also paid for the tents and chairs.”

Nkalubo was with KCC secretary for labour, Winnie Makumbi.
