JOSEPHINE Namayega provided the spark to rally A-1 Challenge from a horrendous 2-10 start to a 35-32 victory, dealing KCC Leopards their first loss in the MTN basketball league on Saturday.
Namayega nailed two clutch lay-ups and a single free-throw at the MUK main ground with 49 seconds remaining to give A-1 the lead to their first season victory.
“We knew they weren’t going to give up,†A-1’s Rosette Meya said.
