LOCAL motorcross champion Arthur Blick believes Sunday’s race in the inaugural African championship at Lubiri could turn memorable as he eyes dethroning Kenya’s Daniel Muturi of the continental title, writes Fred Kaweesi.

“I intend to win the Open class and take the title off (Daniel) Muturi. It will be memorable,” Blick said yesterday.

Other local participants in the May Day event organised by Speedway Motorcycle Club (SMOC) include Ali Nsubuga, Abedi Lubambula and George Semakula.

The event will also feature riders from, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Somalia.
