From Kakiri, home to Vice-President Gilbert Bukenya, we hear that his FM station, Busiro 107.4 FM, has been testing its signal since Monday.
Busiro FM is set to go on air at the end of May, which coincidentally marks two years since Bukenya was elevated to the number two slot as VP.
Scouts went ahead to tell us that apparently, Bukenya is tired of Kampala FMs because all they talk about is politics and kisanja and nothing like community development, which Busiro FM is set to concentrate on.
They will also be playing a mixture of funky and local music.
Meanwhile, in the long running battle between 91.3 Capital FM and Radio Simba over the use of the name Kiss FM, first blood has gone to Capital FM.
They recently won a court injunction preventing the Aga Sekalala run-radio station from using the name Kiss.
