THE DP top party leaders on Friday joined Joseph Balikuddembe Mutebi as he campaigned at Abayita Ababiri on Entebbe Road.

Democratic Party (DP) president general Dr. Paul Ssemogerere, treasurer Ssebaana Kizito, Elias Lukwago, the party lawyer and Al-Haji Nasser Sebaggala joined Mutebi atop a blue Isuzu truck chanting party slogans.

The youthful Mutebi, who is the son of the late Busiro South MP Patrick Musisi, is one of the five candidates vying for the seat.

Others are Freda Mubanda (Wakiso deputy speaker), Charles Ssenkubuge (radio presenter), Fred Kiggundu and Herbert Ssekandi both teachers.

Draped in green and white caps inscribed with: “Vote JB for Busiro South,” the leaders vowed to hunt for votes for Mutebi.

Ssemogerere said Mutebi was accomplished and a competent lawyer, who would effectively interpret the constitutional, political and social problems facing the country today.
