KCC FC delivered a perfect riposte to their critics with a 7-0 demolition of relegation-bound Gulu United at Nakivubo stadium yesterday.

Talk that KCC had lost its imposing style was proved to be largely exaggerated as they took Gulu to school with braces from Hamis Kitagenda and Geoffrey Sserunkuuma while Tony Mawejje, Bosco Nyeko and Mujib Kasule struck one apiece.

The City Tyres soccer league spotlight today turns to the group A top-of-the-table clash between Masaka and URA.

"We want to turn Masaka stadium a slaughter house, URA will not survive," said Masaka acting coach Badru Ssekayi.

At Namboole, coach Sam Timba will have to resolve his team’s striking woes. Villa have managed one goal in three matches.
