BUNYOLE county MP Emmanuel Dombo has denied allegations that he is conniving with MP Dorothy Hyuha to divert the proposed new district headquarters of Bunyole from Busolwe to Butaleja, to suit their political motives.

Armed with all the information to defend him self at the New Vision offices, Dombo said there was no politics involved in the location of the headquarters because the decision to have them at Butaleja was made by Bunyole residents.

He was yesterday reacting to accusations by the Bunyole county LC4 chairman, Issa Waligo, that the two MPs were trying to relocate the headquarters to their home area.

Bunyole is among the new districts announced during the budget speech.
“Waligo is confusing the Banyole and inciting people against us. He is confused. We have letters which he signed and agreed that the headquarters be located at butaleja,” Dombo said.

He said a technical team from the local government ministry approved Butaleja as the headquarters.
