Allan the Cantankerous loses Africana job

ALLAN aka the Cantankerous (right) is back to square one, again! The notorious ex-radio man is jobless for the nth time after being given the sack by Hotel Africana management for absconding from duty. Allan, who was employed by the hotel general manager, Paul Akivembe, was earning a weekly stipend of sh48,000. The hotel was paying him sh8,000 a day as a resident DJ for six days between 6:00pm and 10:00pm. His woes started when he began missing work after getting paid. When management discovered this, they changed his payment day to a weekend. We hear he became so desperate for money. Once he heard a guest asking one of the waiters to buy him a sim card worth sh20,000. He volunteered to do the errand, but never return to date. Luckily, Cantankerous left his sh48,000, which was due to be paid to him for that week.
