Local artiste Bebe Cool and his fiancée Zuena Kirema sought refugee in Pastor Robert Kayanja’s Miracle Centre Cathedral last Friday, exciting thousands of Christians who had gathered for an overnight prayer.

The worshipers stretched out their hands in communion to pray and bless Moses Ssali a.k.a Bebe Cool and his family.

Kayanja called out Pastor Peter Sematimba to lay hands on Bebe Cool as they prayed, saying Sematimba was once an entertainer like him.

In the congregation was former External Security Organisation chief David Pulkol.

The prayers were held under the theme “creating an atmosphere where the devil can’t stay.”

Yesterday, Bebe Cool, a muslim, said he went to Church to get peace of mind.

“The more money one gets, the more problems one faces. I will be going to Miracle Centre once a week. It’s good for all musicians,” Cool said.

Kayanja said he would support secular musicians who sing gospel music to encourage them to turn to Christ.

Bebe Cool sang his Talimba Yesu (Jesus never lies) to chants from the congregation.

Kirema testified about encountering a devil worshiper, whom she said was “a very influential man in the city.”

She said she had gone to AngeNoir nightclub with Bebe Cool when the man shook her hand, sending a massive wave like an electric shock through her arm.
The pain stopped when she shouted “Jesus.”
