Hotel Africana will be the place tonight. Geoffrey Lutaaya, the mellow-voiced singer of Eagles Production band, who has wowed us with hits like Ogila Okyabaddaza, and Oli Miss will launch his new album Nassanga.

Though the singer has produced a number of significant Afro pop songs since he started singing in 1996, this is his first album launch. “Since this is my first time to launch an album, I planned to make it an experience for my fans, who have supported me. The stage, the lighting and sound will be mind numbing,” Lutaaya said.

He added, “I have also lined up a galaxy of local stars to entertain them. They include Juliana Kanyomozi and Bobi Wine, Angela Kalule, Titi and Paul Kafeero.”

Lutaya said in order to give the launch a lasting feel, all invited artistes, who include his colleagues like Mesach Semakula and Ronald Mayinja will not sing to pre-recorded music. The Eagles Production band will be on hand to provide a full range of musical backing for them. Tanzanian sensational singing act and two-time Kora Award winner, Jay Dee will also perform. Entry will be sh10,000 for all and sh20,000 for VIPs.
