Saudi ambassador bids Museveni farewell

Outgoing Saudi Arabian ambassador, Abuwhed Abdullah al-Erifi, on Tuesday called on President Yoweri Museveni to bid him farewell.

Outgoing Saudi Arabian ambassador, Abuwhed Abdullah al-Erifi, on Tuesday called on President Yoweri Museveni to bid him farewell.

Erifi is retiring to Saudi Arabia after three years in Uganda. He has been in diplomatic service for 42 years.

State House said Museveni hailed the cordial relations between Uganda and Saudi Arabia and thanked the government of Saudi Arabia for constructing King Fahd Plaza in Kampala, which funds some programmes at the Islamic University in Uganda.

Erifi commended Museveni for his good leadership.
