EU gives sh1b to PSFU

THE European Union (EU) has availed sh1b to the Private Sector Foundation (PSFU) to disburse to enterprises this financial year.

THE European Union (EU) has availed sh1b to the Private Sector Foundation (PSFU) to disburse to enterprises this financial year.
Siraje Bazibu, the scheme manager, said the funds are aimed at increasing production and enhancing competitiveness of the enterprises.
Bazibu said during an interview on Tuesday in Kampala, that the PSFU would distribute the money through its 50% cost-sharing programme, Business Uganda Development Scheme-Enterprise Development Support.
He said the funds will go to enterprises and consultants registered in Uganda.
