Ugandan teenager shines in London

UGANDAN Ramadhan Kiguli, an 18-year old student at Southfields Community College in London, has been awarded the Wandsworth Young Person of the Year.

UGANDAN Ramadhan Kiguli, an 18-year old student at Southfields Community College in London, has been awarded the Wandsworth Young Person of the Year.
Kiguli was presented with the gold price trophy on May 3 by the Mayor, Chief Councillor Lola Ayanrinde.
Kiguli who has now enrolled for a sports degree is also training as a basketball coach with the council’s sports development team. He is teaching of the sport to children within the community.
Kiguli is grandson to veteran sportsman Kaddu Sserunkuuma (right).
