Munyenga's PAM tears
The PAM Award artistes nominations on Tuesday in Ange Mystique did not go down well with Sheila Nvanungi and Winnie Munyenga, who were not nominated in any category. After the representative from Ernest & Young read out the nominations, Munyenga (who this time did not show her underwear for all to see) and Nvanungi stormed out of the club bitterly disappointed. Moments later, overwhelmed Pastor George Okudi stormed the club with his eyes up on journalists who held results of nominations. Upon seeing his nomination as best gospel artiste, he jumped up with joy. But what surprised patrons was the speed at which he waffled down the samosas offered to him.

Ticket of the week
The hottest ticket going this weekend is to the UBL and Celtel sponsored Koona Dance at Lugogo Cricket Grounds. Scouts tell us that it is going to be a night to remember as gates open up at 3:30pm with the first act hitting the stage half an hour later at 4:00pm. Just to make sure everybody has a blast, the party in the park will not close until 4:15am, when the last act ends. Will you be there?
Meanwhile, this Sunday August 7, DStv launches the new English Premier League Season at Silk Royale with the screening of the Community Shield live from Cardiff, starting at 4:15pm.
It is going to be an event that hypes the new season and highlights the benefits of DStv's soccer coverage. Arsenal will battle with Chelsea for the Shield. However, word has it this is going to be an exclusively invite only event. Have you been invited?

Liz got a bun
It is official. Liz Rukundo, better half of former BAT salesman Marx Rukundo, is pregnant. Scouts tell Have you Heard that the pregnancy is in its second month. Meanwhile, hubby Marx has landed himself a super job in South Africa and left this dusty city of ours on Sunday afternoon to take up his appointment. Liz and her yet to be born child are expected to join him sometime in September, so we hear.

Ug's hot babes
Since the story broke last week about the internet kimansulo, reliable sources tell Have you Heard that the people behind it have decided to clean up their act following the intense public outcry. www.hotugandans.com is being revamped as a site where single beautiful Ugandans can meet and chat over the web. In another development, we hear that a Miss Uganda runner-up was offered sh20m to appear on the site but as to whether she took up the offer or not, we don't know.
