David Matovu netted the sole goal against Africa that assured the champions of the winning 235 points in the senior football class. Luwangula finished second with 229, Africa third (223) and Kakungulu fourth (196).

THE government is to construct a sh799m stadium in Kisoro next year to boost sports in the district. District sports officer Augustine Ntibarikure revealed in an interview at his office recently that it is in the government plan to create a healthy and productive nation through physical education and sports by backing the district to put up a stadium.
