INVITING the woman of the house to witness your graduation is one thing. Having two other women turn up and expect the same treatment as the woman of the house is suicidal.
And that is exactly what happened two Thursday’s ago at Kimaka Staff College in Jinja when the nation’s top military brass were being passed out.
According to scouts, as each officer’s name was read out, they went forward and were given their papers by Defence Minister, Amama Mbabazi.
After that they walked over to the marquee where their wives were seated, hugged them and handed over their papers and then went back to their seats. All went okay until former ISO boss, Col. Elly Kayanja stepped forward. After receiving his papers and as he walked towards his wife, two other women sprung out of one of the other VIP tents.
Sensing something was amiss, a now sweating Kayanja increased the pace of his strides. But that move did not put off the women. They continued with their surge towards him.
With the pressure mounting on him, Kayanja just managed to hand over his papers to his wife then quickly dashed back to his seat before he could be ambushed by the other women. Needless to say the two scorned women were not amused.
