<b>OB donates</b><br>KAMPALA — A Canada-based St. Mary’s College Kisubi Old Boy has constructed a $30,000 (sh50m) library for his former school. The headteacher, Brother Edward Bukenya, recently saluted John Kamya for building the junior library.

WAKISO — Twenty-five community HIV/AIDS volunteers were on Friday trained and awarded bicycles and bags worth sh2m by UPHOLD and the Kisubi Hospital initiative for the care of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Thief jailed
MUKONO — A 35-year-old man was on Friday sentenced to 11 years imprisonment over theft. Issa Namulya of Bugga village in Ngogwe sub-county, committed the crime between 2001 and 2002.
