SIR — On July 29, <i>The New Vision</i> published an article entitled “This fuel station is deadlyâ€. Caltex Oil (U) Ltd would like to dissociate itself from any fuel dealings at the station described.
SIR — On July 29, The New Vision published an article entitled “This fuel station is deadlyâ€. Caltex Oil (U) Ltd would like to dissociate itself from any fuel dealings at the station described.
It is the policy of Caltex to protect the safety and health of the people and the environment.
For Caltex, safety is never compromised for anything. We would like to inform the public that the owner of the station mentioned has not and does not purchase fuel from Caltex Oil (U) Ltd.
We therefore disclaim the Mambule–Gayaza road site. Please investigate the source of the fuel at that station.
