Sir — Since Zzimwe Construction Ltd took over the tender to repair part of Hoima Road, from Nakulabye to Lubigi swamp, business along the stretch has been at a standstill due to too much dust.

Sellers of cooked food and drinks have no school fees for their children because they have lost business.
The dust and the potholes have rendered new taxis on the route ramshackled and dirty.
We request KCC and the ministry of works to intervene and speed up the work and free us from dust and flu. Zzimwe’s public relations officer should also explain the slow pace
