THREE Ugandan referees have been invited for CAF elite referees’ course to be held in Cairo, Egypt from November 23-29. The referees are Mohammed Ssegonga, Ali Tomusange, and Rosebell Rwamuyamba. They will be among 33 participants from across the continent, who will go through new FIFA fitness tests, according to CAF.

Nkima thrash

Clubs slow
SUPER League champions Police FC was among the clubs yet to register for next season’s super league ahead of today’s deadline. According to NFLC administrative secretary Aisha Nalule, only four clubs in Victor, Express, URA and Kinyara had registered for the league, which had been set to start later this month. Each club is required to pay sh0.1m for registration.

Tz calling
TANZANIA Amateur Boxing Association has invited Ugandan boxers for the Bingwa wa Mabingwa championship. The tournament due in Dar es Salaam November 24-December 2 has cash prizes for medalists. The meet will involve only champions in the respective weight categories.
