OUTGOING regional Police commander eastern Bob Ngobi has commended the military court martial for handling cases of armed civilian terrorists, writes Nathan Etengu.
He said the General Court Martial helped the region to deal with armed thugs who had terrorised residents.
“Because we arrested the civilians with firearms, we chose to charge them in a court martial. Many of them were given the sentences they deserved,†Ngobi said.
Ngobi left on Sunday evening to head a team of 20 Police officers on a peace mission in Monrovia, Liberia.
