Dutch to help two campuses

MAKERERE University Business School (MUBS) and Kyambogo University have been chosen by the Dutch government to benefit from support in setting up institutes for procurement studies.

MAKERERE University Business School (MUBS) and Kyambogo University have been chosen by the Dutch government to benefit from support in setting up institutes for procurement studies.

Edgar Agaba, the Ag. executive director, Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA), said that the two universities have already developed some procurement curriculum, and that the degree courses have already kicked off.

“Currently, there is market demand for fully educated procurement specialists in the country, both from the public and private sectors,” he said.

He was speaking during the Second Joint DAC/World Bank Round- table conference on procurement at Munyonyo.
