THE minister of water lands and environment, Kahinda Otafiire, who is also the MP for Ruhinda county, has urged the people of Bushenyi to vote for Mary Karooro in the woman MP by-elections.

THE minister of water lands and environment, Kahinda Otafiire, who is also the MP for Ruhinda county, has urged the people of Bushenyi to vote for Mary Karooro in the woman MP by-elections.
Otafiire, who is the chairperson of Ankole and Bushenyi parliamentary groups, said he was behind Karooro (right) because she was the only capable person in the race. He predicted a 90% win for Karooro.
He was addressing supporters of the former candidate Hope Kabirisi, who stepped down for Karooro, in Ishaka. Karooro is the President’s press secretary.
