ALL the top guns of tennis including James Odongo will fight for the Nomi Open honours starting tomorrow.

ALL the top guns of tennis including James Odongo will fight for the Nomi Open honours starting tomorrow.
The sh5m competition, to run until February 29, will be held at the Lugogo courts.
Odongo is up against other men’s singles title favourites like Godfrey Uzunga, Charles Yokwe, Shaban Lwanga and Cedric Babu.
The Uganda Tennis Association (UTA) season opening show has also attracted Rosette Musoke, Edith Wamalwa, Janet Namutebi, Jane Nabawanuka in the ladies event.
Odongo is seeking to make up for the early exit at the Great Lakes Open held in December.
His colleague Uzunga is looking for a first major title after losing to Zimbabwe’s Martin Dzuwa in the Great Lakes men’s singles final.
Yokwe is returning to the court after missing the December competition. He was out of the country playing golf.
The competition, sponsored by Mukwano Group of Companies under its soap and detergent firm, Nomi, has attracted over 60 players.
