The Pirates started off as something of second side to the Mango Kobs, but have since then broken away, and last year came very close to beating Kobs twice, both games ending in controversy.
It will be a family affair at Kyadondo, with MTN Heathens taking on its sister club and league debutantes Buffaloes, while the Makerere pitch might witness another record score as the rampaging Mango Kobs visit Hima Impis.
